Science, technology, engineering, and math (S.T.E.M.) are integral subjects that all students should master. According to the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development), out of the 34 member countries, the United States ranks 20^th in science and 27^th in math. The Harlem Edutainment Company (HEC) takes S.T.E.M. learning seriously and has created the following field trips to make S.T.E.M. tangible, exciting, and fun.

Mathematics Tour

Simply put, this tour package makes learning and using math fun. Students must utilize and develop their addition, subtraction, and multiplication skills to compete in, and win activities involving math. The tour package is comprised of the following activities:

• Museum of Mathematics
• Blitz Champz Math Workshop

Money Tour

This tour package introduces students to the concepts of economics, finance, and entrepreneurship, all of which rely heavily on mathematics and continuous advances in technology. Students will participate in the following activities:

• Museum of American Finance Tour
• Entrepreneurship Workshop
• Columbia University Tour
